Just 6 km from Atalanti and next to the sea is the port of Skala Atalanti, with many fish taverns, cafes and bars. In Skala is one of the largest and most beautiful sandy beaches in Lokrida. It is the main beach of Atalante and is 6 km away. from the city. The beach is relatively long and wide and fully organized. Also along the beach there are playgrounds and a beach volleyball and tennis court. It even has water sports. The beach is full of tavernas. It is important to mention that Skala has a harbour shelter and a port authority service. In the area there are the churches of Analipsi and Panagia.
